Louver Shutter & Blinds Instructions
For Corners: Alternate Installation is required so the louvers do not interact with the ones in the opening next to it. When completing Step 1, mark your post 2 ¾” from the edge to the center, from the bottom to the top of the opening, to create a center line to follow. And then continue with Steps 2 – 7.
Standard Installation Instructions
Step 1: Mark your post 1 ¾” from the edge to the center, from the bottom to the top of the opening, to create a center line to follow.
Step 2: Mark 3 ½” on the post from the bottom of the opening, centered on the previous line from Step 1.
Step 3: Using one of the actuators provided, place it with the bottom hole on top of the 3 ½” marking from Step 2. Mark the next spot using the second hole above in the actuator. Continue this until you reach the top of the opening.
Important: Make sure the last hole in the actuator is on top of the last marking before making the next mark with the second hole above.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten screws while assembling as it may damage plastic elements.
Step 4: Now you can screw each “L” bracket in place on each of the markings from Step 3 using Screw A. Important: In this step, do not over tightened the screw as the “L” bracket must be able to rotate loosely.
Step 5: Now you can attach each board to the “L” bracket using 6 of Screw B.
Step 6: Attach each actuator one at a time to either the left or right side. Connect each one to the next “L” bracket using Screw A, overlapping it onto the next – there is an indent so they will be flush when you connect them.
Step 7: Using shears or snips, cut the last actuator flush with the bottom “L” bracket.
